This project focused on updating a family room that had remained largely untouched for decades, aligning it with the design and functionality of the rest of the first floor. The client wanted the room to feel fresh, modern, and all white—without feeling cold or sterile—so the design balances bright, clean finishes with warmth and comfort. Key objectives included providing ample seating with deep, comfortable sofas, preserving the existing paneling, and highlighting the fireplace as a central feature. A custom photo wall was added to showcase family memories, while functional tables allow for casual dining or use as trays. The existing ceiling fan was retained, and the old carpet was replaced, completing a modern, inviting space that meets the family’s current needs.
